  • It was a Great Night!

    Greetings! You may have received an email of the last post about Clifford Brewery by mistake. If you did, sorry!

    The new blog:

    June 7, 2025 Gus Apostolos and I opened for our good friend, the very talented Astrid Young at the Clifford Brewery in Hamilton, Ontario.  What a great show!  The crowd was big, friendly and appreciative, and the venue is comfy and easy.  Gus started off the evening with some covers featuring DJ on violin and Bo on lap steel.  Then I did a set of my originals, with Gus on guitar, including “In the Twinkling of an Eye”,  “River Road” and the WORLD PREMIERE 😃 ! of “Upside Down the World”.  I backed up Astrid on some of her songs, and it was great to learn her music again, to really know it intimately. She is a fabulous writer, and it is always a joy to sing with her.
